13. Amstel-Drechtkanaal links

Het Amstel-Drechtkanaal verbindt de rivier Drecht en het Aarkanaal met de rivier de Amstel. Een deel van dit kanaal vormt de grens tussen Noord- en Zuid-Holland en Utrecht. Rond 1825 is het kanaal gegraven op initiatief van Koning Willem I. Hij wilde dat er grotere schepen konden varen tussen Noord- en Zuid-Holland. In dit kanaal ligt ook de Tolhuissluis.
