16. Molen De Hommel

Hier zien de we De Kleine Molen. Dat deze vijzelmolen uit 1879 ook wel De Hommel wordt genoemd komt door zijn gedrongen bouw. Hij bemaalde de polder, maar in 1944 werd op last van de Duitse bezetter de polder onder water gezet. Na de oorlog werd de molen de behuizing voor een elektrisch gemaal. Helaas sloeg in 1967 de bliksem in. In 1972 en 1991 werd de molen weer gerestaureerd, maar de verkoolde houten achtkant is grotendeels behouden. Ook deze molen wordt beheerd door de Stichting Molens Zuid-Kennemerland.
