15. Drecht

De Drecht is een rivier die vandaag de dag door Kaag en Braasem stroom maar het oorspronkelijk tot voorbij Uithoorn doorliep en samen met de Kromme Mijdrecht de Amstel vormde. Uit de Drecht is rond 1825 ook het Amstel-Drechtkanaal ontstaan.
